Lonnng Weekend

This was a long weekend, in more than one sense of the word. A good weekend, all in all. Just very long.

So I supose it is fitting that this post be long, too! Well, not long in words, but long in space because try as I might, I just couldn't exclude any of these pictures - sorry.

Going fast!

Looking for the last few eggs

Who says rabbits can't fly?

I got to try using a friends Nikon D70 for the egg hunt. I have serious lens envy and the lack of shutter delay was very nice, but I still like the Canon processor better. I think I will hold out for the D20, or at least the Rebel XT.

In addition to celebrating Easter and the normal demands of the farm, we also started work on the basement in the "new" house. Yep, we start moving across the driveway in two weeks, and I want to have as much of the basement finished as I can before we move in.

I have started a new blog to chronicle this rather monumental effort.

Your family is just beautiful! (I know, don't tell your son that)

The delight children find in hunting for that precious egg with its goodies is priceless to experience, isn't it?

One question: HOW does your wife maintain such a youthful figure? :) She's lovely!

Gorgeous pictures - or rather gorgeous subjects! I'm currently having some angst with my D70 with regard to some hood/lense shadows I'm getting. Driving me beserk. Otherwise..much in love with it still.

Nice. Wasn't the weather Sunday perfect? And I even like Monday's, too. A rainy day every now and then is lovely.

Jennboree: his wife chases/homeschools/raises 4 kids and runs a horse farm, that's how she keeps her youthful figure!

Great peeectures! I'm in total agreement with the other folks posting: W is hot.

I need to find out if Pam uploaded any pictures of Q that you got.

She was having serious photographer envy at how well you framed and composed your shots.

It was hilarious when you set up the shot with A "finding" an egg, and Q came rushing in to the frame to pick it up and hand it to her!

Oh YES!! Hold out for the 20D. You won't regret it. I won a point and shoot and tried to use it in Vegas to protect the 20D if I happen to get a litte drunk *giggle* and i took 5 pictures, hated the delay.
The rebel and the D70 were in my top 3 as well. after holding and playing with all 3 the 20D won out.
But i heard they are no longer making the 20D, its being phased out because of the new 30D *sigh* So hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

LOL, I was so awe-struck by how dynamic your phots are that the text didn't sink in. I have a Nikon D50 and love it. Not that I can use it to its full potential yet.

Oh yeah, and tell me why you like the Canon processor better. I'm seriously camera shopping right now and I thought EVERYBODY wanted a D70.

I know I should be saying something intelligent about the camera, but I really just want to tell your wife how jealous I am of the skirt and shoes. Loving them! Great outfit!
