We have that book. Or did. Someone gave it to my husband for some reason.

I have spent a good deal of my life trying NOT to mow the lawn.

Do you have to wear those pants?
They sort of look like he might be the Man in the Yellow Hat.

"The Lost Art of Being a Man"! So good to know there will be people out there who will know what to do "when a lady faints". Because that happens so frequently.

Oh my. I just had a vivid flashback to my dad mowing the lawn under the scorching Phoenix sun, with me trailing along beside him, confident in my belief that if Dad can go topless, so can Cat. I don't think I ever felt to alive, so... free.

Fortunately, my mother preserved that moment for posterity [/bitter].

Oh, and hey! I don't see a way to email you directly, so I'm commandeering this comment section for a moment...

If you truly want to get the full impact of VM, you should really rent the first season DVDs and watch those first. But these last four episodes of the 2nd season should be pretty fantastic (probably even if you haven't seen the series before...)

Anyhoos, just my two cents! Congrats on the new dish! Your life is about to change, and you can never go back.

Heh.
